GIOVANNI MATTEUCCI

is Professor of Aesthetics at the University of Bologna. Among his main publications: Filosofia ed estetica del senso (2005), Il sapere estetico come prassi antropologica (2010), L’artificio estetico (2012), Il sensibile rimosso (2015), Philosophical Perspectives on Fashion (2016, ed. with Stefano Marino), Estetica della moda (2019), Estetica e natura umana (2019). He edited the Italian translation of classical works of contemporary aesthetics (by Dilthey, Cassirer, Adorno, Dewey, Langer, Wollheim, Berleant). His research concerns the structures of aisthesis with reference to sense and form and the problems of the aestheticization. He is Editor in Chief of “Studi di estetica”.
